Northern Gold Coast Touch (NGCT) is committed to providing a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all players, officials, volunteers, staff, families and visitors.
Any incident, concern or behaviour that may require follow-up by NGCT should be reported as soon as reasonably possible to incidents@ngctouch.au
This may include incidents involving player or spectator behaviour, volunteers or staff, safety concerns, inappropriate conduct, safeguarding concerns, venue-related incidents, disputes or other matters requiring formal attention.
Where possible, reports should include the date and time of the incident, location, people involved, a factual description of what occurred, details of any witnesses and any immediate action taken.
The incidents@ngctouch.au address will operate as a restricted shared mailbox accessible only to authorised NGCT personnel.
Upon receipt, NGCT will:
Incident reports will be treated respectfully and as confidentially as reasonably possible. Information will only be shared with those who reasonably require it to assess, investigate, manage or escalate the matter.
NGCT cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality where disclosure is required to appropriately manage a matter, protect a person, comply with governing-body requirements or meet a legal or regulatory obligation.
Where there is an immediate risk to the safety or wellbeing of any person, the priority is to take appropriate action to ensure their safety. Emergency or serious matters should not be delayed while waiting for a response from the incident mailbox.
Reports should be made honestly, respectfully and based on factual observations wherever possible. Making a report does not, by itself, establish that misconduct has occurred.
NGCT will approach reports impartially and provide procedural fairness to those involved where appropriate.
